Look up a word

When the subtitles appear, simply click on a word

<aside> ❗ Subtitles not showing? Go to the Migaku toolbar and click on the [CC] button, and make sure the correct target language is selected. If subtitles are not available, try watching another video that does.

Create a card

1. To create a study card, click on the orange “Send to Card” button in the popup dictionary

1. A prompt will appear in the top right corner, indicating that you need to enable permission. To enable permission, click on the Migaku extension icon directly and permissions will be enabled

You can also open the menu manually and enable it ahead of time by selecting the toggle “Allow images and audio capture for this session”

1. The Migaku app will open up to the Card Creator and will pre-fill the form with the target word, sentence, definition, and image field with content from the video

   • Subtitle the word is in → Sentence field
